Cannamedus, which is 100% Maryland resident-owned and 100% Minority and Woman-owned, was established in July of 2015 to provide the highest quality hemp-based products to our customers.
Our premium hemp flower products were lovingly grown on our farm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
All flowers were hand harvested at their peak to provide the best possible experience with our product.
What is CBD?
CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a chemical compound from the Cannabis sativa plant, which is also known as marijuana or hemp, according to the US National Library of Medicine.
CBD is a naturally occurring substance that is found in the Cannabis sativa plant and used in products like oils, topicals, and edibles to impart a feeling of relaxation and calm. Unlike its counterpart, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the major active ingredient in marijuana, CBD is not psychoactive.
The plant Cannabis sativa has two primary species, hemp and marijuana. Both contain CBD, but there's a much higher percentage in hemp, which also has very low (less than 0.3%) levels of THC compared to marijuana.
What is CBD oil? CBD oil is extracted largely from the flowers or buds of the hemp plant.
